On 14 February 2025, the Federal Ministry of Information published an account of Tunji-Ojo receiving the leadership of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, FCT Council. The delegation was led by its chair, Grace Ike.

The commitment described

Tunji-Ojo said journalists were welcome to engage with his office and acknowledged the media’s role in holding public officials accountable. The official account records the meeting and the remarks made; it is not an independent assessment of media access across the ministry.
